We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Technician to join our team.
As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing support and care to individuals with mental health conditions.

Duties:
- Assist in the implementation of treatment plans under the supervision of mental health professionals - Monitor and document patient behavior, progress, and response to treatment - Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients - Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration - Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement therapeutic activities - Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients - Respond to crisis situations and provide appropriate interventions - Participate in staff meetings and training sessions
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field preferred - Previous experience working in a mental health setting is highly desirable - Knowledge of medical terminology, coding (ICD-9, DRG), medical collection, ICD-10 systems, medical records, medical billing, and medical office procedures is beneficial - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with patients - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards - Basic computer skills for documentation purposes We offer competitive compensation packages and opportunities for professional growth within our organization.
